Famicos Foundation partners with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to offer food distribution at the Hough Multipurpose Center (located at 8555 Hough), at NORA (1400 E 55 St), in our residences, and in schools in our communities.

Nutrition & Cooking Classes

Famicos offers healthy cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes throughout the year in our residences and in the community as a part of the Cleveland Clinic 8-Week Challenge and the Gateway 105 Market.  

Gateway105 Farmer's Market

When the USDA deemed the Glenville region a food desert, we knew we had to make access to fresh and healthy food a priority in our communities. The Gateway105 Farmer's Market brings in vendors to sell fresh locally grown produce, herbs, jams and jellies, and other fresh goodies. We also offer holistic healthy workshops, sustainability workshops, mobile health screenings, cooking demonstrations, exercise classes, and other health & wellness programs. The Farmers Market accepts EBT, WIC, Senior Coupons, Produce Perks, and Rx Vouchers.  The Market runs Fridays 3-7 pm and Saturdays 1-4 pm at our indoor-outdoor location at 1322 E 105 St. Free parking is located behind the building, off of Churchill Ave.
