Pop-Up Vaccine Clinics

Vaccines are the most effective way to lessen the potential deadly effects of certain viruses. Famicos works with our health partners to bring pop-up vaccine clinics to Cleveland's low-income senior apartment buildings. Cleveland Clinic 8-Week Challenge

Residents can participate in this challenge 3 times a year competing with residents from East Cleveland, Glenville, Central/Kinsman, Hough and Fairfax. Participants gain points for their community by attending fitness classes, nutrition classes, and other wellness classes. At the end of the 8-week challenge, all points are tallied for each neighborhood and the winner is announced! This Healthy Community Initiative is part of an ongoing collaborative effort between the Cleveland Clinic, Famicos Foundation, and various community partners to promote optimal health & wellness.

Bicycle Programs

Famicos partners with Bike Cleveland to offer bicycle programs in our communities, such as the Bike Fixathon, helmet & light distributions, community bike rides, and more. Biking allows us to get exercise, relieve stress, travel inexpensively, and reduce our carbon footprints.
