February 25, 2021It is with profound sadness that Famicos Foundation announces the sudden death of Justina Kwesiga on February 16, 2021 in Uganda. Justina is survived by her mother (102 years), her husband, Charles Kwesiga, three daughters, a son, one grandchild, Ollie and a host of relatives.
Justina worked as the Famicos Foundation Controller for many years. Justina’s work in the early 2000’s supported the rapid growth of Famicos Foundation staff, affordable housing and services – all to benefit those most in need. We will remember Justina for her kind heart, unmatched work ethic and eagle eye for the financial bottom line. She raised the bar on work quality and financial accountability. May Justina inspire all of us to work toward a more equitable world. We will miss Justina. May she rest in peace.
