During our Annual Meeting we premiered this video showcasing some of the work the Famicos Foundation is doing in Glenville as Purpose Built Communities’ community quarterback.
The Famicos Foundation and Republic Services are partnering to restore historic St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church on East Blvd into a Family Center. Originally built in 1911, St. Mark’s was a fixture in Cleveland’s Civil Rights Movement. By restoring this building and preserving its historic elements, Famicos will celebrate Glenville’s rich history and transform a long-vacant building into a community center and event and performance space for Glenville Residents. Matt Traitses from Republic Services joins us to discuss Republic Services' partnership with the Famicos Foundation in restoring St. Mark's Presbyterian Church into St Marks Family Center. We are so grateful to Republic Services for their partnership!
Famicos Foundation is planning two exciting new development projects as a part of Glenville’s Neighborhood Revitalization Plan. The two projects are both located within the Plan's concentrated investment district in the southern portion of Glenville. Read more in this Press Release.
